Luke Bryan‘s wife Caroline returned from a social media hiatus to wish her country superstar husband a happy birthday on Wednesday (July 17).
It’s family tradition to share silly photos on birthdays, and Caroline didn’t disappoint with her round-up of photos to celebrate Bryan’s 48th birthday. Highlights included the singer rocking head-to-toe yellow spandex — part of a Halloween couple’s costume, where he dressed up as a wedge of cheese to his wife’s mouse — plus a silly photo of him popping his head out of what looks like it might be a tour bus window.
“Happy birthday Luke!!! We love you so much!!” Caroline wrote in her birthday tribute. “You are the ‘Premium to my Zesta’…love you to the moon and back.”
Bryan was also the star of the show on his wife’s Instagram stories, where she posted video of herself and the couple’s nephew Til cooking the birthday boy his breakfast. Meanwhile, the family — including a shirtless birthday boy — had a celebratory morning dance party.
But the real star of the show was Bryan’s birthday cake, a golf-themed affair with a topper reading “Happy Birthday Luke.” Puffs of frosting serve as grass patches, and the tasty treat was decorated with golf balls and a biscuit reading “The Older I Get, the Harder it is to Find My Balls.”
Bryan and his wife are well-documented as one of the goofiest couples in country music, and they often play pranks on each other, especially during their annual holiday tradition of the 12 Days of Pranksmas.
But the family is also focused on giving back. They’ve got a lengthy history of charitable work, and are the founders of Brett’s Barn, an animal rescue sanctuary created in honor of Caroline’s late niece Brett Boyer.
Most recently, the Bryan family became financial backers of a new hospital wing at Williamson Medical Center in Franklin, Tenn., near their home.

Caroline, who typically delivers a steady stream of prank videos and other comedic content, has been unusually quiet on social media in recent months. She returned last week with a video of herself holding a chicken and cracking up with her sister-in-law. “Been away for a while…everyone needs a social media break,” Caroline wrote in the caption of that post.
